  	RG09 Piece 3696 Folio 85 Page 15. This entry is probably for our family. John agricultural labourer 44 from Cumberland, Mary 35, Thomas 13 born Shildon which matches 1881 Census & William 6 born Cleatlam.

  	Copy certificate issued 14 February 2007. Described as Retired Coalminer Shifter aged 75 but should be 77. Death registered by Edward David Williams, son-in-law of 11 John Street, Chester-le-Street, Co. Durham.

  	Burial Register page 87 entry 696 shows him aged 75 of Morrisons Buildings, Shincliffe Colliery. A side note says 'old churchyard'.
